It’s her job. You couldn’t arrest someone for killing in a past life. You couldn’t bring a civil suit against them, either. MaryJanice Davidson – Deja Who Genre: Author: Leah Nazir is an Insighter. Reincarnation is her business. But while her clients’ pasts are a mess, Leah’s is nothing short of tragedy.
She’s been. I enjoyed a lot of aspects of this book. I appreciated that the Heroine was a 'chilly bitch' who was a gifted InSighter, hated her job, hated her mother (with just cause but their relationship was THE best thing in this book for me), has no friends, and is doomed to die young, again and again.3/5(1).

At its best, Deja Who works well as the first book in a cool urban fantasy series with a murder mystery at the heart of the plot. At its worst, Deja Who is a poorly executed romance with quite possibly the most annoying hero I have ever read.

Deja Who by MaryJanice Davidson Overview - From the author of the New York Times bestselling Undead novels comes a delightfully addictive new series about past lives and bad habits—and one woman paranormally predisposed to getting at the bottom of both.
Hilarious book The story was great. The narrator did a wonderful job, but this was a very difficult audiobook to listen to. There was a lot, a LOT of inner dialogue. Though, like I said, the narrator tried hard to distinguish the inner voice from dialogue audible to other characters, it wasn't always easy to tell.
